The Family
The Man David Watson

Gather around, my children,
and let me share the light.
When I was born, I saw nothing but love As I grew, I looked out at the world and understood very little—nothing, really, except the people around me. Before I learned fear, before doubt took root, I learned connection. I opened myself to others for guidance, for survival, for understanding. From them, I learned when to act, when to remain still, and how to stay calm in the face of the unknown.
My Family taught me the way.
They shared their love freely. Through them, I learned what safety felt like. Through them, I learned I was not alone. They asked me to follow—not out of control or command, but out of care. Some walked ahead so I could better see the path. Others stayed beside me so I would not fall.
There is nothing stronger than a Family.
A family protects what matters while moving forward together. It does not exist in domination or isolation, but in unity. Together, we move with purpose, guided by shared values, walking toward the same light we all come from—and to which we will one day return.
My Family taught me what love truly is—not possession, not control, but presence and protection. They taught me how to guard my own light, and how to recognize when it is time to share it. They taught me that real strength is not found in standing alone, but in standing together.
For me, MY family was everything.
The world existed beyond us—loud, demanding, and endlessly distracting—but it was never what mattered most. What mattered lived within the circle. To love and to be loved is the only thing that truly matters in this world. Everything else is noise.
A family is more than a group.
It is belonging.
It is guidance.
It is shared light on a dark path.
If you are here—reading this, listening, feeling the call—know this:
You were never meant to walk alone.
I Love You
